Fresh off of an 8-4 victory over nationally-ranked Kentucky, the University of Evansville baseball team will finally return home from a 13-game season-opening road trip this weekend to host Morehead State, Le Moyne, and Purdue in the annual Dunn Hospitality Diamond Classic at UE’s Charles H. Braun Stadium. The four-team classic will run Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoon with games slated for 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. central time each day.

The University of Evansville diving team has experienced many firsts this season like a first-year coach and first records broken since the 1995-96 season. Now three divers will get to experience their first NCAA Zone C Diving Championships March 12-14 at Purdue University.

LEXINGTON, Ky.—The University of Evansville baseball team exploded for five runs in the sixth inning to grab a four-run lead, and relievers Matt Netherton and Tom Heithoff made it stand up, as the visiting Purple Aces doubled up the nationally-ranked University of Kentucky Wildcats, 8-4, on Wednesday at Cliff Hagan Stadium in Lexington, Kentucky.
