The final countdown begins for the University of Evansville softball team, as the Aces have one more week before taking the field at Troy to open the 2010 season.

The University of Evansville softball team will be hosting a hitting and pitching camp for high school players of any playing level every Sunday through the month of February.

The University of Evansville softball team has signed five players to National Letters of Intents for the 2011 season. Committing to the Purple Aces are Taylor Perry of Crown Point, Ind., Nicole Rahming of Reno, Nev., Emily Morris from Waterloo, Ill., Katie Sears from Chicago, Ill., and Kacey Rogers from Homer Glen, Ill.
