The University of Evansville swimming and diving team starts a busy weekend on Friday, as the team travels to Missouri State to take on the Bears at 5:00 p.m. before hosting Asbury College at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Saturday’s meet against Asbury marks the team’s final home meet of the season and Senior Day. The Aces will honor the team’s seven seniors before the meet begins at Wyttenbach Pool.
The Aces look to bounce back from tough losses at Western Kentucky on Sunday where the Aces had over 30 top-three finishes. UE took six top times and scores with the divers taking three of them. Freshman Sadie Wells and senior Josh Fletcher finished first on the three meter while junior Andy Balczo won the one meter. Freshman Michea Reinitz took first in the 50 free while fellow freshman Jill Enge won the 200 breast. Sophomore Colin Gray recorded a first-place spot in the 200 breast for the men’s team.
