EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville’s annual Hoopfest presented by Heritage Federal Credit Union is set to take place on Thursday evening at the Ford Center.
 
Set to begin at 6 p.m., admission to Hoopfest is free of charge.  Fans can also purchase sodas, hot dogs and popcorn for just $1.
 
Several events will be going on for both the Purple Aces women’s and men’s basketball teams including player introductions, a 3-point challenge, intra-squad scrimmages and a slam dunk contest.
 
Following the event, fans will have the opportunity to meet and get autographs from players on both teams.
