In addition, senior
Kayla Lambert will be honored for making the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Women's Soccer Academic All-America Team, and senior
Matt Hunsaker will be honored for being chosen as a Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar.
"It is very rewarding to see the outstanding academic results of our student/athletes for the most recent semester," said Director of Athletics John Stanley. "Many factors go into achieving these results. First and foremost, we have an excellent faculty at the University that cares very much about student success. Secondly, our student/athletes are capable, motivated individuals with high expectations for themselves. We are fortunate to have coaches with the skill to recruit good students who are also good athletes. Our staff in the Student Services area in Athletics and throughout the University also work numerous hours to see that our student/athletes have every opportunity to succeed. Finally, a special thanks to the Beeler Family for their generosity which resulted in the Beeler Family Academic Center. Our student/athletes, coaches, and staff have found the Beeler Center to be a great asset for the many students who use it."
