BUCHANAN, Tenn. -- All five University of Evansville golfers shot 78 or lower today, led by 73s from Christian Poling and Griffin Wood, as the Purple Aces finished 10th in a field of 16 teams at the Skyhawk Classic. The tournament took place at par-72 Paris Landing Golf Course.

Sophomore Andrew Luo was Evansville's low man with a 54-hole total of 222, putting him 31st in the field of 87 golfers. Michael Sainz and Poling tied for 45th at 226. Jad Sinclair of Central Arkansas led from start to finish in earning medalist honors at 13-under-par 203 and leading his squad to the team championship. Coach Jim Hamilton's Aces close out the fall season Oct. 19 and 20 at the Dayton Invitational, played at NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio.
