WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.-- University of Evansville freshman Sadie Wells closed out the 2009-2010 season for the Purple Aces after competing in the five-meter platform on Sunday at NCAA Zone C Championships at Purdue University.

"Sadie did an awesome job," said Evansville diving coach Eric Blevins. "Especially since she hasn't performed those dives all season. I'm proud of all our divers for making it this far."

Wells made it into the finals of day three with a score of 175.4 before breaking that score with 175.85 and placing 17th with a score total of 351.25.
