The University of Evansville men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams fell to Miami of Ohio in tonight’s dual meet in Oxford, Ohio. The men were defeated 170-110 while the women lost by a score of 193.5-104.5.
Jake Harrington ended the night with two first place finishes for the men, posting top times in the 200- and 500-freestyle.
Alex Seward posted a time of 47.40 in the 100-free to take second place. Seward also took first in the 100-buttefly and second place in the 200-free.
Colin Gray posted a first place time of 2:18.01 in the 200-breaststroke while also taking second place in the 100-breast.

Justin Shotwell each finished the meet with a second place finish. Diver
Andy Balczo posted a third-place score of 271.72 on the 3-meter boards. The men’s relay team notched a first place finish in the 400-free while taking second place in the 200-medley.
Alex Howard led the women with first place times in the 100- and 200-backstroke and a second place finish in the 200-IM.
Michea Reinitz swam a season-best time of 54.10 to take second place in the 100-free. Reinitz also won the 100-fly and took second in the 200-fly.
Christina Schmidgall finished the night with a pair of second-place times in the 500- and 1000-free.
Jill Enge won the 200-breast with a time of 2:25.49.
Jen Childers posted the highest finish of the UE divers with a second place score of 251.39 on the 1-meter boards. The women’s relay team took first and second place in the 400-free.
The Aces will return home to host Lindsay Wilson College in a dual meet on Saturday at UE’s Carson Center. The first event is set for 1:00 p.m.
