EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville men’s soccer team was recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) for its efforts in the classroom, as the Purple Aces received the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2011-2012 academic year.
 
Evansville men’s soccer players posted a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.14 to earn the annual award, which is given to teams that achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.00.  UE was one of four Missouri Valley Conference schools that received the honor.
