CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Sophomore
Kelsey Edens earned the first victory of her collegiate career as the University of Evansville women’s tennis team competed in day one of the Austin Peay Fall Tournament on Friday.
Edens, who competed in Flight D, swept past Loren Schaper of Southeast Missouri State, 6-2, 6-3.
Evansville went 3-4 in singles action in day one. In Flight A,
Natasha James topped Ashley Canty from Murray State (6-3, 6-2) while
Mina Milovic gained a win over Ivon Simic from UT-Martin (6-2, 4-6, 10-2).
Of the Aces four losses, three were in super tiebreakers.
