EVANSVILLE – The University of Evansville Athletics Department is excited to bring back a Meet the Aces event for the kickoff of the 2016 fall sports seasons.
 
The event, which will be hosted by Turoni's Pizzery and Brewery (8011 Bell Oaks Dr., Newburgh, Ind.), will be held on Monday, Aug. 22, at 6 p.m.
 
Current UE student-athletes will be in attendance, as well as head coaches Manolo Concepcion (volleyball), Krista McKendree (women's soccer) and Marshall Ray (men's soccer). The event will also be broadcast live on 91.5 WUEV, which is once again the radio home for UE Athletics this season.
 
In addition, there will be a Nike uniform unveiling for women's soccer as well as prize drawings throughout the evening.
 
The event will also be an opportunity for fans to pick up the 2016 team posters and schedule cards. Fans may also purchase FLEX wristbands as well as All-Sport Passes.
 
Fans that are unable to attend the event are able to purchase the wristbands and passes at the Carson Center Ticket Office or over the phone at 812.488.ACES.
