EVANSVILLE – After falling in a pair of matches last week, the University of Evansville women's soccer team will be hoping to get things back on track on Tuesday as the Purple Aces will depart for a contest at UT Martin.

The Aces (1-6-1) will be looking for their first win since a 2-0 victory at Miami (Ohio) last month. Bronwyn Boswell scored twice in that encounter, and she's continued to standout in the matches since, scoring last week against Saint Louis. The Texan senior has found the back of the net five times this season, taking her career goal haul up to 19, which is tied for the ninth-most in school history.

However, UE will undoubtedly be looking for goals from other sources as well as the rest of the team has combined for two on the season, with Montana Portenier and Molly Lear opening their accounts with goals against Cincinnati and Morehead State, respectively.

Defensively, the Aces have depended on the veteran partnership of Colleen Dierkes and all-conference first-teamer Emily Richardson at the heart of the back line, and another senior, Whitney Biggs, has played every minute in goal this season, logging two shutouts in the process.

Meanwhile, UTM is 2-4-0 on the season, but the team has won two of its past three matches, including a 2-1 win over Troy two weeks ago and a 3-2 decision at Chattanooga last Friday.

Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. at Skyhawk Field.

NOTES: UE is 2-3-1 all-time against UT Martin, and Tuesday will mark the sixth time that the two schools have squared off since 2010 … The two sides first met in a 7-0 UE win on Sept. 2, 2001, and they wouldn't meet again until a 2-0 Skyhawk win on Sept. 10, 2010 … Last season, UTM mounted a second-half comeback to beat UE 3-2 in Evansville. Former Aces Allie Arguello and Olivia Shafer each scored in the contest.
