ST. LOUIS, Mo. – For the second time this season, University of Evansville guard Camary Williams earned the top weekly honors in the Missouri Valley Conference, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.
 
Williams, a senior out of Ft. Myers, Fla., has played a key role in helping the Aces enjoy a strong start to the season. UE, which at 2-0 is off to its best start to Valley play since the 2006-07 campaign, has taken home seven of the last eight contests. This past weekend, Williams averaged 23 points, 10 rebounds, seven steals and 3.5 assists as UE picked up a 57-41 victory over Indiana State before following up with a 67-36 decision over Loyola.
 
Williams, who earlier this season became the first Ace to claim a weekly honor since Khristian Hart in 2015, is now the first two-time winner since Shannon Novosel in 2007-08.
 
The Aces will return to action this weekend with an Iowa road swing, taking on Drake on Friday and Northern Iowa on Sunday.
