EVANSVILLE – The University of Evansville women's soccer team wraps-up a three-game season-opening homestand and hits the road for its first road contest of the regular season this weekend.
The Purple Aces open the weekend at 5 p.m. on Friday with a contest against IUPUI at Arad McCutchan Stadium before traveling north to take on Fort Wayne on Sunday at noon (CDT).

UE opened the regular season last weekend with a split, starting with a 2-0 loss to Southeast Missouri State before defeating UT Martin, 2-1.
IUPUI opened the season with a pair of losses to Eastern Illinois and Valparaiso, both by 2-0 scores. The Aces and Jaguars have met on eight occasions with UE holding a 4-3-1 advantage in the all-time series.
Sunday's contest with the Mastodons marks the fourth time the Aces and Fort Wayne have met with the Mastodons leading the all-time series, 3-1-0. Fort Wayne opened the 2017 season with a 2-0 loss on the road to Ball State before falling to Detroit Mercy at home, 3-0.
