Last week, Evansville earned a split with a 1-0 loss on the road at Butler on Tuesday and a 2-0 win over Eastern Illinois at Arad McCutchan Stadium on Sunday.

Entering the weekend, the Bears are 4-2-1 with a 1-0 mark in Missouri Valley Conference play. Missouri State currently boasts a three-match winning streak, including back-to-back 1-0 shutout wins over Oral Roberts and UMKC. In the series, the Bears own 17-10-2 advantage, but the Aces captured the last matchup, 2-1, in Springfield, Mo. on October 29, 2016.
