EVANSVILLE, Ind. - It's been seven days since the University of Evansville women's soccer team fell in heartbreaking fashion against Loyola in their Missouri Valley Conference opener. They end that layoff tomorrow on the road at Northern Iowa.
Last weekend, the Aces opened MVC action at Arad McCutchan Stadium on Friday night. The first 70 minutes of action past by without much event, but the final 20 minutes featured a combined five goals as Loyola edged Evansville, 3-2.

Game Notes
In their second weekend of conference play, the Aces take on a Northern Iowa team that enters the weekend with an 8-1-1 overall record and a 1-0 mark in MVC competition. The Panthers are currently on a three-match unbeaten streak following a 1-0 overtime victory over Illinois State in Cedar Falls last Saturday. Evansville leads the all-time series with UNI, 13-3-2, and has won five of the last six matchups, including a 3-1 victory over the Panthers last season.
