EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The University of Evansville Men's and Women's Cross Country teams travel to compete in the Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday morning in Louisville, Kentucky.
 
The races will be held at Tom Sawyer State Park with the men's 8k blue race starting at 9:45 a.m. (CDT) and the women's 5k blue race beginning at 10:30 a.m. (CDT). For many teams, the meet will serve as a preview of the 2017 NCAA Division I National Championships which will be held at Tom Sawyer State Park on Saturday, November 18.

Teams joining the Aces men's team in the classic include top-ranked Northern Arizona and No. 7 Wisconsin, while the Aces women's team joins a field including No. 13 Boise State and No. 18 Wisconsin.
 
Evansville is fresh off a successful outing at the Austin Peay Cross Country Festival last weekend that saw junior Sienna Crews and sophomore Stanley Chepchieng lead the way for the Aces' women's and men's teams, respectively. Following her sixth-place finish at Austin Peay, Crews was named the Missouri Valley Conference Female Cross Country Athlete of the Week.
