EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Swimming and diving opened their spring slate this evening with a duel meet against Eastern Illinois. Both squads saw victories for their Senior Meet.
The final standing for the women were: Evansville: 228, Eastern Illinois: 60. For the men: Evansville: 158, Eastern Illinois: 130.
"I'm very happy for the wins," said head coach Rickey Perkins. "It's been a tough week, coming back from our winter training trip where we did a lot of work. We've had a lot of illness, a lot of kids hit by the flu. We had maybe 8 kids out of the meet.
