MAUMELLE, Ark. - The University of Evansville women's golf continues its spring season at the Little Rock/Arkansas State Invitational at Maumelle Country Club in Maumelle, Ark.

Evansville will compete against a tough field in the invitational featuring Alcorn State, Arkansas State, Houston Baptist, Jacksonville State, Little Rock, Northern Illinois, Stephen F. Austin, UT Arlington, and UTEP. This week's invitational is the penultimate regular season tournament for the Purple Aces before heading to the MVC Championship April 15 through 17 in Newton, Kan.

Maumelle Country Club, the site of this week's invitational, is a par 72, 6,136 yard course. The tournament will feature three rounds spread out over two days of competition.

The Aces are coming off an eighth-place finish at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate, led by Sophie Rohleder who paced Evansville finishing in a tie for 16th. Rohleder recorded a three-round total of 232 (80 - 74 - 78) to earn the best individual finish of any Purple Ace at the tournament.

Following Rohleder was Madison Chaney with a total of 240 (78 - 77 - 85) who finished in a tie for 31st, while Minka Gill carded a three-day total of 243 (87 - 78 - 78) to finish in a tie for 40th.

A pair of Aces in Giulia Mallmann and Lexie Sollman tied each other with three-round totals of 262 in the intercollegiate as the duo both finished in a tie for 50th.
