ST. LOUIS, Mo. - University of Evansville women's basketball junior guard Kerri Gasper has been named Honorable Mention All-Missouri Valley Conference, it was announced in a release from the conference office on Wednesday.

Following a strong junior campaign, Gasper received her first all-conference honor in her third season with the Purple Aces. This season, Gasper led the Purple Aces in scoring (13.3 per game), rebounding (5.6), assists (3.2), steals (1.1), games started (29), and free-throw percentage (91.9%). The Olmsted Township, Ohio native sits sixth in the Valley in scoring, assists and minutes, eighth in three-point percentage, and 13th in rebounding. Gasper set a career-high with 26 points against Indiana State on February 2 and recorded her first double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds against Missouri State on December 31.

Gasper is poised to enter the Evansville record book as the junior currently sits at 91.9% from the free-throw line this season, which would put Gasper second in single-season free throw percentage in program history if the season ended today.

Evansville opens up the 2018 Missouri Valley Conference Tournament on Thursday as the No. 10 seed when the Aces take on No. 7 seed Bradley at 7 p.m. in Moline, Ill.
