EVANSVILLE, Ind.--The first day of the Aces' Fall Classic wrapped up with the University of Evansville women's tennis team going 9-2 in singles play and 4-0 in doubles play at Carson Center Courts.

Newcomers Kate Chybowski and Pin Sorenson defeated Austin Peay's Brittany Hays and Laura Gonzalez 8-0 in doubles play. Each went undefeated in their singles matches. Lisa Kawamoto pulled out an exciting win over Austin Peay's Michelle Liew 1-6, 6-2, 10-6. Sara Wilhoite defeated Reilly Ackerman of USI after losing to Meg Rozboril of Morehead State. Allie Cox and Jamie Petty won their doubles match 8-2 over Meredith Lortie and Alli Nickell from Morehead State.

The second day of the Aces' Fall Classic will begin tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. at Carson Center Courts. The Aces will try their luck against Austin Peay, USI, Morehead State, Butler, and Western Kentucky.
