Senior Night for the University of Evansville women's soccer team Friday night against Creighton will entail more than honoring five veterans.  It's an important match for both UE (9-3-3, 2-1-2) and the Bluejays (8-6-1, 2-1-1) in determining how high they finish in the Missouri Valley Conference standings.  Kickoff Friday at Black Beauty Field is 7:00.

Five teams still have a shot at first place heading into the final weekend of conference play.  The first and second place finishers advance directly into the semifinals of the State Farm MVC Tournament, which Evansville hosts beginning Nov. 9.  Prior to that, the third place team hosts number six, and the fourth place team hosts number five in quarterfinal round matches the weekend of Nov. 4.

UE's five seniors playing in their final regular season home match Friday are midfielders Heidi Grey, Angela Bleecher and Kaitlynn Radtke, defender Nicole Zygmontowicz, and goalkeeper Jessica Sumner.
