In collaboration between UE Athletics and Friends of UE Music, Aces Brass will be sporting new uniforms for the upcoming season. The new uniforms will be a permanent fixture for years to come. Athletic Director John Stanley and Friends of UE Music president Laurel Vaughn provided the funds to outfit the band with purple and white pants and jackets.
 

The Department of Music provided the band with matching t-shirts to wear under the uniforms and polo shirts for concert attire. Aces Brass performs at athletic, UE, and community functions and is the most active off-campus performing ensemble. Most recently Aces Brass performed during the men's basketball games at the MVC Tournament in Saint Louis, the women's basketball games at MVC Tournament in St. Charles, Missouri, and at the women's WNIT tournament at University of Southern Illinois.
