Both University of Evansville soccer teams return home Wednesday for a doubleheader at Black Beauty Field, beginning with Coach Krista McKendree's Purple Aces taking on Southern Illinois-Edwardsville at 4:00.

The Aces bring an 8-3-2 overall record into the non-conference match against 5-6-0 SIUE. Evansville is tied with Drake for first place in the MVC at 3-1-0 with two league matches remaining. UE senior forward Kayla Lambert is ranked 14th nationally this week in goals per game, and 15th in points per game. Lambert has 11 goals and four assists for 26 points, and needs four points to tie the MVC career scoring record of 126 points, set by Annie Wayland of Illinois State in 2002.

UE is just three victories away from posting its highest win total since 2001, when the Aces were 13-7-1. They've won 10 matches in each of the last three seasons.
