Missouri State will be the semifinal round opponent for the University of Evansville women's soccer team Friday at the State Farm MVC Tournament in Omaha, Neb. The Bears advanced by defeating host Creighton last night 4-2 in penalty kicks following a 0-0 tie through 90 minutes of regulation play and two overtimes. Coach Krista McKendree's Aces defeated Missouri State 3-1 at Springfield during the regular season.

Kickoff Friday is at 5:00 CST. Number two seed Illinois State plays number six Indiana State in the other semifinal, at 7:30. Indiana State upset third seeded Drake 1-0 in overtime Wednesday.

The two semifinal winners on Friday advance to Sunday's championship match at 2:35. The championship will be televised throughout most of the Midwest by Fox Sports Net.

The Aces go into tournament play with an 11-4-2 overall record, and 5-1-0 in the league. Their only MVC loss came at Drake, 1-0.
