Due to the change in the UE travel schedule this past weekend and the continuing winter weather in the Tri-State area, the UE-Kentucky Wesleyan baseball game originally scheduled for this afternoon has been moved to Tuesday, March 18.  The Purple Aces will now open the home season this weekend in a three-game series against Radford, beginning Friday at 3:00 p.m.

Evansville, 0-3 on the young season, will go in search of its first victory of the 2008 campaign on Wednesday afternoon, as the Purple Aces will travel to Nashville, Tennessee to battle the nationally-ranked Vanderbilt University Commodores.  Vanderbilt, 2-1 on the year with the lone loss coming to top-ranked Arizona State, is currently ranked in the nation’s Top 10 in almost every single major collegiate baseball poll.  First-pitch is now scheduled for 4:00 p.m. central time.
