Due to heavy rains and wet field conditions in Martin, Tennessee, Tuesday's regularly-scheduled University of Evansville baseball game at Tennessee-Martin has been postponed. The two teams hope to make up the game on Tuesday, April 8.
Evansville will now return to the diamond next on Wednesday, weather permitting, as UE will travel to Lexington, Kentucky to take on nationally-ranked Kentucky. The Wildcats are ranked as high as ninth nationally in the Collegiate Baseball Top 30, and are off to a perfect 9-0 start behind an offense which is averaging over 13.4 runs per game. Evansville will be looking for its first win of the 2008 season, after dropping to 0-7 on the year with Sunday's doubleheader loss at Radford.
