ORLANDO, Fla.—The University of Evansville tennis team picked up its second win in Orlando Tuesday with a 6-1 victory over Lehigh University.
In doubles action, freshmen Kate Chybowski and Pen Sorensen defeated Allison Schwartz and Ruthie Furman 8-3 at number one. Lisa Kawamoto and Stephanie Millis won their second match together at number two doubles defeating Alexis Jacobi and Ariela Cohen 8-3.
The Aces picked up five victories in singles play. Kawamoto picked up her first singles win of the trip with a 6-2, 6-3 with a win over Schwartz. Chybowski improved to 9-0 on the season with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Allison Arthofer number two. Sorensen, Allie Cox, and Riette Cox all added singles victories for the Aces.
The Aces (6-3) will return to action Wednesday when they will match up against Grand Valley State in Orlando, Fla. at 8 a.m.
