ORLANDO, Fla.—The University of Evansville tennis team picked up its third straight win against Grand Valley State Wednesday in Orlando. The Aces defeated the Lakers 5-2 for their seventh win of the season.
The Aces won all of their doubles matches and four singles matches. Lisa Kawamoto and Stephanie Millis picked up their third straight doubles victory at number two, defeating Audrey Koopsen and Katelyn Grashorn 9-7. Susan Elliott and Allie Cox picked up the win at number three with a 9-7 victory.
In singles action, Kawamoto defeated Jenna Killips 6-1, 6-1 at number one. Chybowski won here tenth singles match with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Chelsea Johnston. Pin Sorenson and Riette Kotze also had singles victories for the Aces.
The Aces (7-3) will wrap up their spring break trip on Friday against James Madison at 8 a.m. in Orlando, Fla.
