The University of Evansville baseball team will wrap up a six-game road trip on Tuesday night, as the Purple Aces will head south to Bowling Green, Kentucky to take on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in a non-conference affair.  First-pitch is set for 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday's game can be heard live on 91.5 F.M.-WUEV.

Evansville (6-27 overall) will be looking to even its record on its current road trip on Tuesday, as the Purple Aces have gone 2-3 through the first five games of the six-game trip.  The Purple Aces posted back-to-back victories at Tennessee-Martin (15-10) and Murray State (6-5) last week, before suffering a three-game series sweep at the hands of Missouri Valley Conference rival Missouri State over the weekend.  UE will not only be looking to even its road trip record at 3-3 on Tuesday, but Evansville will also try to extend its non-conference winning streak to five games as well.

Sophomore catcher Andy Pascoe currently paces the UE offensive attack with a .336 average, three home runs, and 26 RBI.  Pascoe has opened the month of April on fire, hitting a robust .488 (20-for-41) with two home runs and 13 RBI during the Purple Aces' 10 April games.  He has recorded seven of his 15 multi-hit games during the month of April, including posting four games with three hits or more.

Offense is the name of the game at Western Kentucky (19-15 overall), as the Hilltoppers will enter Tuesday's game averaging over 8.0 runs per game while sporting a team batting average of .319.  Junior Chad Cregar anchors the Western Kentucky offense with a .367 batting average, 13 home runs, and 52 RBI.  Senior infielder Terrence Dayleg (.357/3/26) and sophomore infielder Wade Gaynor (.345/10/27) also highlight the WKU attack.

Western Kentucky leads the all-time series over UE, 32-27, including posting a 10-1 victory over the Purple Aces on March 25 at Braun Stadium in which the Hilltoppers launched three home runs.  Sophomore RHP Mark Obenchain (1-3, 6.04 ERA) will get the start Tuesday night for Evansville.
