Tennis Aces Win At Bradley

PEORIA, Ill.—The University of Evansville tennis team picked up a Missouri Valley Conference win over Bradley on Friday afternoon.
The Aces won four singles victories en route to a 5-2 victory over the Braves. Lisa Kawamoto picked up a win over Emily Regenold 6-1, 6-3, at No.1. Kate Chybowski got the win at No. 2 over Kelly Donohue, 6-2, 6-0. Pin Sorensen defeated Jessica Butterbaugh 7-5, 6-1 at No.4, and Stephanie Millis won against Kim Braun, 7-5, 6-3, at No. 6
In doubles action, the Aces picked up two wins for the doubles point. Sorensen and Chybowski defeated Buterbaugh and Donohue, 8-3 at No. 1. Kawamoto and Sara Wilhoite defeated Nicole Miller and Regenold, 8-6, at No. 2.
The Aces will return to action Saturday at Illinois State for a 1 p.m. Missouri Valley matchup.
