TERRE HAUTE, Ind.—The University of Evansville tennis team ended its regular season with a 7-0 loss to Indiana State on Sunday in Terre Haute, Indiana.

 

With the win, Indiana State won the regular season Missouri Valley title going undefeated in MVC play with four Sycamores going undefeated in MVC play.

 

Jennifer Migan defeated Lisa Kawamoto at No. 1 singles 6-3, 6-0. Kate Chybowski fell to Sarah Meghoufel at No. 2 singles 6-4, 6-3. Joanne Schickerling picked up a win over Sara Wilhoite after she was injured during the match. Pin Sorensen, Allie Cox and Stephanie Millis dropped their singles matches.

 

The Sycamores took all three double matches. Migan and Schickerling won over Chybowski and Sorensen 8-1 at No. 1. Meghoufel and Fadzai Masiyazi picked up a win over Wilhoite and Kawamoto, 8-5, at No. 2, and Marie Cajoulle and Petrovych defeated Cox and Millis at No. 3 doubles, 8-1.

 

The Aces (12-11, 2-6) will travel to the MVC Championships at Creighton on April 26.
