The longest homestand of the season for the University of Evansville women's soccer team begins Friday when the Purple Aces host Morehead State at 7:00 at Black Beauty Field. It will be the first of four home games in the next 12 days.
Evansville comes into the match at 1-1-1 after rallying to tie Radford 2-2 on the road last Sunday. Morehead State is 1-3-0 after picking up its first win of the season on Wednesday over Georgetown College, 6-0. The two teams have already played one common opponent. Evansville tied Western Kentucky 1-1 in an August 16 exhibition match. Morehead State lost to the Lady Toppers 5-1 at Bowling Green on August 29.

Kayla Lambert leads the Missouri Valley Conference in goals (1.67 per game) and points (3.67). She became the Aces' all-time leading scorer last Sunday, and goes into Friday's match with 107 points. That puts her second in MVC scoring behind former Illinois State standout Annie Wayland, who scored 126 during her career from 1999-2002.
