EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Evansville tennis team will have their home opener on Friday evening at 6 p.m. at Tri-State Athletic Club when they will host Murray State.

Fans are invited to a “Meet the Aces” event at 4:30 p.m. prior to the match. Players and coaches will be meeting and talking with fans. Snacks and drinks will be available with the match beginning at 6 p.m. with doubles competition.

The Aces have split their first two weekends of competition with wins over Georgetown College and Austin Peay. Allie Cox, Kate Chybowski, and Theadora Kotsiou lead the team with three singles wins each. Pin Sorensen has four doubles victories including two with Chybowski and two with Ashton Schwerin.

Following Friday’s match, the Aces will travel to IPFW and St. Francis on Feb. 20 and Feb. 21.
