Johnson City, Tenn. – A winter storm moved into the Johnson City, Tennessee area on Sunday, forcing the final game of the series between the University of Evansville Purple Aces and East Tennessee State University Buccaneers to be cancelled.  As of this time, no makeup date has been announced.

 

Evansville will play one more road game on Wednesday against the University of Tennessee at Martin before returning home to the friendly confines of Braun Stadium on Friday for the start of three homes games during the 2009 Dunn Hospitality Classic I.  First pitch against UT-Martin is set for 2:00 p.m. (NOTE:  start time has been moved up from the original 4:00 p.m. start time).
