CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.—The University of Evansville tennis team defeated the Austin Peay Lady Governors 6-1 on Friday.

The Aces picked up the doubles point with two wins. Pin Sorensen and Ashton Schwerin defeated Michelle Liew and Demi Georgakopoulus at number two doubles while Allie Cox and Stephanie Millis defeated Alex Pyle and Brittany Hays at number three doubles.

In singles, the Aces came away with five individual victories. Cox had the game clinching win with a victory over Brittany Hays at number five singles. Kate Chybowski, Theadora Kotsiou, Sorensen, and Millis all had victories in the Aces’ win.

The Aces will conclude their weekend tomorrow at Belmont with a 2 p.m. match.
