EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Evansville tennis team will host their first home match of the spring season on Wednesday as conference play gets underway with Southern Illinois. Match time is set for 3 p.m. at Carson Center Courts.

The Aces are coming off of a 4-3 win over Butler on Saturday. Sophomore Kate Chybowski earned her second Missouri Valley Conference Athlete of the Week selection in three weeks. Chybowski defeated Natali Jaimes, 6-3, 6-3. Jaimes was edged by Indiana State's Sarah Meghoufel in three sets earlier this season as the Bulldogs defeated the Sycamores, 4-3. Chybowski and partner Theadora Kotsiou extended their win streak to seven matches with a win over Molly Casperson and Becky Jenkins at number one.

Following Wednesday’s match, the Aces will travel to Northern Iowa and Drake the weekend of April 4 and 5 for two conference matchups.
