University of Evansville cross country runner Shelby Cron has been selected to attend the NCAA National Student-Athlete Leadership Conference, May 24-27 at the Walt Disney World Coronado Spring Resort in Orlando, Fla.

The conference is limited to 233 student-athletes representing NCAA institutions. Evansville's other three nominees were baseball player Nate Smith, swimmer Zach Kanet, and softball player Allison Aguilera.

Cron, a native of Newburgh, Ind, just completed her freshman season at UE.
