The University of Evansville softball team will be hosting a weekly instructional clinic in September and October for high schoolers interested in improving different aspects of their game.
The instructional clinic will be held at Evansville’s James and Dorothy Cooper Stadium on Sundays beginning on September 27 and ending October 25. Schedule and start times will be sent out September 18. The cost for the clinic is $85 before August 31 and $115 after September 1.
"My coaching staff and I are looking forward to meeting and working with so many players from the area,” said Evansville head coach Mark Redburn. “We are excited and eager to teach them the very same skills and techniques that our players implement in our softball program."
Divided into two divisions by grade, the campers will receive different instructional topics each clinic before playing games. Redburn along with his staff and players will help instruct the campers on a variety of topics, including hitting, defense, pitching and catching.
