For the 14^th consecutive year the University of Evansville women’s tennis team has earned the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team award.  In addition four players also received ITA Scholar-Athlete status.

2009 UE graduate Stephanie Millis (Greenwood, IN/Center Grove), juniors Kate Chybowski (Appleton, WI/Appleton North) and Ashton Schwerin (Madison, WI/Madison East) and sophomore Payal Sharma (Jasper,IN/Jasper) all received ITA Scholar-Athlete status for maintaining a grade point average of 3.5 or above for the academic year. Overall the Purple Aces complied a team GPA of 3.427 to capture All-Academic Team honors. 

The Purple Aces start the season at home when they host the Aces Fall Classic. The tournament will start September 18 and conclude September 19th at Carson Center Courts.
