Freshman Kristen Davis was selected today as the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after scoring the University of Evansville's first goal Sunday in a 2-1 MVC win over Drake.

Davis took five of the Aces' 14 shots, and two of the team's four on-goal shots in Sunday's league opener. She now has three goals this season to tie Kasey Kutzler for the team lead. The win over Drake extended Evansville's win streak against league teams to five, dating back to last season. UE returns to Black Beauty Field Wednesday for a 7 p.m. non-conference match against Eastern Illinois.
