The University of Evansville women's soccer team returns to Black Beauty Field to play Western Kentucky Friday at 7:00 and Middle Tennessee Sunday at 1:00.
The 1-3 Purple Aces are trying to break a three-match losing streak that followed their season opening win at Southeast Missouri, 1-0. WKU comes into the match with a 3-1 record. The Lady Toppers beat Butler 1-0, Southern Indiana 3-2 and Eastern Kentucky 1-0 before losing last Sunday at 24th ranked Memphis 3-0. Five different players have accounted for the Toppers’ five goals. Middle Tennessee is 4-1-1 going into Sunday's match. The Blue Raiders tied Oklahoma 2-2 last weekend. Oklahoma is one of the top 10 ranked teams in the Central region.
