Megan Hock is a major pain for the University of Evansville women's soccer team, and the main reason for IUPUI's 2-0 victory over the Purple Aces Friday night at Black Beauty Field.

Hock scored both goals last year as a freshman in IUPUI's 2-0 win over the Aces at Indianapolis, and she did the same Friday on Evansville's home field, scoring at 10:46 and 17:36 to give the 2-2-0 Jaguars all they needed for their second victory in a row.  UE is now 1-2-0 going into Sunday's match at Morehead State.

Hock's first goal came when she stepped around a defender and lofted a shot from the corner of the 18 over the head of Evansville goalkeeper Theresa Bagby.  The second came on a run down the middle of the field, with Chelsi McHenry and Lisa Thomas threading passes to find an open Hock on the left side.

The Aces got four shots from freshman forward Kristen Davis and three from defender Katelyn Smith, but IUPUI's Jamie Farrell saved all three shots that the Aces put on goal as Evansville suffered its second straight shutout.  IUPUI totaled 17 shots, eight on goal.  Evansville had 13 shots, with three on goal.
