Richmond, Ky.- The University of Evansville Tennis team improved to (3-2) on the season with a 4-3 victory over Eastern Kentucky in the first of a two match road swing. Singles winners from UE were Kate Chybowski at #1 singles, Pin Sorensen at #3 singles, Aleksandra Dzakula at #4 singles. In doubles Chybowski/Kotsiou won at #1 doubles, and Caire/Dzakula won at #3 doubles.
Head Tennis Coach Christine Bader on the match “I thought it was a real team effort, I am really proud of Pin for closing out her match again. Aleksandra’s play this season has been outstanding. I was very excited to get the doubles point, we have been working on our doubles a lot and this win shows our effort is paying off”
The Aces are back in action tomorrow when they play at Murray State tomorrow at 10:00am.
