The University of Evansville Tennis Team will continue its homestand this weekend, as the Aces host Austin Peay (1-0) on Friday night and Belmont (0-1) on Saturday night. Friday night’s match is slated for a 6:30 p.m. CST start at Tri-State Athletic Club. The match against Belmont is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., also at Tri-State Athletic Club.  The Aces (1-1) are entering this weekend after coming from behind last Friday against IPFW to capture a 4-3 win.

Theadora Kotsiou had two gutsy performances to help propel the Aces in their win over IPFW. After being down 7-4 and facing two match points, Kotsiou and partner Kate Chybowski came back to win a critical doubles match to take the point. Singles winners for the Aces were Kotsiou, Chybowski, and Pin Sorensen.

The match against Morehead State was canceled due to weather and will be replayed at a later date.
