The University of Evansville Women’s Tennis team will return to their Missouri Valley Conference schedule this weekend as they travel to central Illinois to take on Bradley and Illinois State.

The Aces (8-4, 0-1 MVC) are coming a split weekend. On Friday Southern Illinois beat the UE 6-1 in the opening MVC match, but on Saturday the team rebounded and pounded out a 6-1 win over in-state rival Butler. The weekend hero for the Aces was sophomore Aleksandra Dzakula as she went 2-0 in #5 singles and 2-0 at #3 doubles.

The Aces take on the Bradley Braves (5-8, 0-1 MVC) in Peoria, Illinois, Friday at 1 p.m.

On Saturday the Aces will make the short trip to Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, to face Illinois State (11-4, 1-0 MVC) at 1 p.m.
