The annual “Meet The Aces” event has been expanded!  Now, University of Evansville fans can meet both the UE baseball and softball teams on Monday night, March 8 at 6:00 p.m. in Eykamp Hall Room A in UE’s William L. Ridgway University Center with the annual “Meet The Aces.”  Admission is free to the public.

Both the UE baseball and softball teams will be on hand to meet and greet fans and sign autographs at the “Meet The Aces”?event, and there will be free schedule cards and posters available for fans of all ages.  First-year softball coach Mark Redburn and second-year baseball coach Wes Carroll will also talk about their 2010 teams and introduce both squads as well.  Season tickets for both baseball and softball will also be on sale.

The UE baseball team will host 30 home games this season at Charles H.?Braun Stadium, including welcoming 2009 NCAA Tournament participants Wichita State, Louisville, Western Kentucky, and Indiana to town.  Season tickets packages are currently on sale and begin at $25 for youth (17 and under), $45 for seniors (65 and over) and $75 for adults.  Single-game tickets are also available at $7 for adults and $5 for youth and seniors.  The home schedule will actually begin next Friday, March 12, as UE will host Morehead State at 3:00 p.m. in the first round of the 2010 Dunn Hospitality Diamond Classic.

The UE softball team will host 17 home games this spring at James &?Dorothy Cooper Stadium, including hosting regional foes Western Kentucky and Belmont in non-conference doubleheaders.  Season ticket packages are currently available and begin at $10 for youth (17 and under), $25 for seniors (65 and over) and $40 for adults.  The home softball season will begin on Saturday, March 27 at 12:00 p.m. when UE hosts Missouri State in a Missouri Valley?Conference doubleheader.
