Orange Leaf Coupon


EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and Orange Leaf frozen yogurt are teaming up Tuesday, October 18th to help bring Abby Guerra and her family back to Evansville for a visit this year.

Anyone who brings the coupon (click on the link above) to the Orange Leaf located at 701 N. Burkhardt Road on Tuesday will have one dollar of the purchase donated to the Abby Guerra Donation Fund, helping pay the expenses of the trip from Glendale, Arizona. 
 
On July 18, 2010, Guerra and four friends were returning home to Arizona from an outing at Disneyland in southern California when a tire blew out on their vehicle, it rolled over, and two of Guerra's friends were killed.  In fact, it was first believed that Guerra was one of those who had died.  Her life remained in jeopardy for several days. Many medical procedures followed, and Guerra, who was a starter for the Aces as a freshman in 2009, and was fourth on the team in goals scored (2) and total points (5), spent three months following the accident under hospital care.
 
However, the Aces’ midfielder has shown remarkable spirit, determination, and progress and she is ready to be reunited with her Evansville family. Help the Guerras, who have already had numerous medical bills over the past year, afford the trip to Indiana by taking the coupon to Orange Leaf Tuesday.
 
The journey to Evansville will mark Abby’s first time back since the accident.
