TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – In the last road match of the regular season, the University of Evansville women’s soccer team slipped, 1-0, to the hosting Indiana State Sycamores Wednesday night. With the loss, the Purple Aces fall to 1-11-4 overall and 0-4 in the Missouri Valley Conference, while Indiana State improves to 4-12 and 1-4 in the Valley.

The Sycamores recorded the lone of goal of the game in the 34^th minute of play, scored by Jessica Rosenberg.

Freshman Taylor Brand and sophomore Stephanie Thompson led the Aces with two shots apiece, while juniors Daniel Langness and Kasey Cartwright each had one shot on goal.

Junior goalkeeper Chaviel Harrison recorded four saves in net, playing all 90:00 minutes.

The Aces return home for the final two matches of the regular season, hosting Drake Sunday at 1:00 p.m. CT at Arad McCutchan Stadium and Missouri State next Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
