CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Freshman Natasha James will look to take her singles flight on Sunday as she continued her strong play on the second day of the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Individual Championships, which are being hosted by Northern Iowa.
 
James improved to 2-0 in singles play at the championships with a sweep of Jessi Aguilera of Drake.  She will square off against Veronika Blaskova of Wichita State on Sunday morning.
 
Dora Kotsiou will battle for third place in the top flight on Sunday.  After opening with a win on Friday, the senior was defeated by Lutfiana Budiharto of Wichita State.  Kotsiou will face Aniko Kiss of Illinois State.
 
Freshman Gaby Fifer will also be looking for a third place finish tomorrow.  Fifer won her opening round against Northern Iowa, but fell on Saturday to Lucia Kovalova of Wichita State.  She will take on Mary McMullan from Creighton on Sunday.
 
The Aces will wrap up play at the tournament on Sunday morning.  It is their final action of the fall season.  Evansville will begin play again in late January.
